London Eye
The London Eye at Westminster (see photo top right) is 135m high and is the tallest observation wheel in the world. The London Eye is also known as the Millenium Wheel as it was opened to the public in 2000.
The wheel rotates at a rate of 0.26 metres per second and a full rotation takes approximately 30 minutes. The London Eye offers great views of London.

Westminster Abbey
Westminster Abbey is one of the most symbolic and sacred sites in England. Practically every sovereign has been crowded at the abbey since 1066 and it is where the top political and artistic figures are commemorated. In addition, most of the monarchs from 1272 to 1760 are buried here.
Top sights include the Poets' Corner, Cloister, Chapter House, Coronation Chair and Henry VIII Chapel.
